Inside a modest suburban bedroom, a bed-bound character is entangled in linen sheets. An ordinary window displays surreal, dreamlike landscapes and prophetic visions as long stretches of time elapse. VR as meditation on stillness, interiority, and the landscapes that exist within boredom.
The mundane domestic architecture of the bedroom becomes a threshold between the real and the imagined. The bed a vessel, the window a portal, the sheets an entanglement of consciousness. Walker’s work dives into the character’s thoughts and fantasies, sharing an intimate perspective of their voyage into a world of ennui. The surreal visions through the window shift slowly, prophetically, as though the room itself is dreaming.
